Panchira Pictures: September Update
Monday, September 10th, 2007 10:20 am by Larry Enos in Press, NewsPanchira Member Makes History! No, really! Arwen, our resident Hair and Make Up Artiste, recently served as a witness to one of the first gay marriages in the state of Iowa! Watch here and at the Panchira Pictures site for a pic of this event.
Larry Directs a Play: Larry recently accepted his first professional directing job directing 1 of a series of 4 short plays as part of the Lucubrations project at the 4th Street theatre. The play is “You Can’t Scare Me”, written by Tom Deiker. Auditions for the play will take place on September 4 and 5 at the 4th Street Theatre, next to Java Joe’s.
Out of State Plates Rumbles Back to Life: Yes it’s true. Dave’s burnt out on films for the time being, and I’m healed up enough that we should be rehearsing for some Winter gigs in town soon. Sasquatch may return as well.
Panchira/Arizona Ink Collaboration Rumors: Since the end of the 48 Hour Film Project, there’s been talk of Larry joining the Arizona Ink crew as a writer for the National Film Challenge. This turns out to be true. More on this as the Challenge gets closer.
Something else in the works is a series of short comedy sketches that will either be put on YouTube/Google or be shown as part of a future Comedy Co-op performance. This is still in the talking stage. I guess the thought of no more Human Giant until next year makes us restless…
