Second, although Dave doesn’t believe in it, you can now friend us on Myspace!!
Right now, Dave, Mike, Mandie and I are ramping up to our participation in the 48 Hour Film Project at the end of July. This weekend we will be attending open auditions for actors at the Fleur Cinema and Cafe. Tuesday 17 July at 5:30pm we will be holding our first meeting of the year at Billy Joe’s Lounge. Next weekend will be the “48 Hour Soundtrack Project”, where we will attempt to compose and record music for a film we know nothing about!
I know I am VERY excited about the prospects for this year and look forward to making more films in the future.

It’s not that I don’t believe in myspace. I understand that its an important networking tool in the year 2007. I just think their site is crap. It poorly thought out, poorly designed, and poorly coded. 9 times out of 10 you get a god-damned cold fusion error. Nobody uses cold fusion anymore! It was crap back when people did use it. It was so crappy that….they stopped using it! But nobody told Myspace.
And oh yeah, it’s owned by Rupert Murdoch. That’s not gonna get me singing its praises any time soon.
